Awesome!
Distribution update, the North American Formica fusca specimens have been separated as a separate species from the Eurasian Formica fusca, the North American species being reclassified as several separate species.
Currently Keeping:
Camponotus chromaiodes, Camponotus nearcticus, Stigmatomma pallipes, Strumigenys brevisetosa, Strumigenys clypeata, Strumigenys louisianae, Strumigenys membranifera, Strumigenys reflexa, Strumigenys rostrata
5 years later still very useful. Thank you for the information! I am thinking about starting a Formica Fusca colony.
