Would This Make a Good Reusable Nest?

My father gave this to me thinking I could use it for something, could I keep Prenolepis imparis in it for next year?

For a colony with more than 50 workers I could see it working.  http://forum.formicu...icture +journey

 

I wouldn't recommend it for queens or small colonies.

You can bolt a clear piece of acrylic on for an easily cleaned nest.

Would it be good for Camponotus without any modifications other than drilling? I might add some substrate though.

Yes, it would work for Camponotus.

Add some sort of substrate to absorb any formic acid.
