One side is a nest that has a small hole (left) leading to a spacious foraging area (not shown). When backlit, translucent, frosted acrylics layered over the hydration sponge result in a cloud-like texture, with channels in one layer of acrylic giving the subtle appearance of rain.

Nice. I have some large colonies. I am hoping that you consider making this with large colonies in mind.

Hmmm... I'd take the prototype. :) That outworld, is pretty sweet looking as well.
