I acquired a founding C. Castaneus queen with some pupa. Then, I collected some more callow workers and more pupae from seperate colonies. They, at first, proceeded to groom her and even conducted trophallaxis with her. Now, however, it seems like she's the only one working. What is happening?

Proverbs 6:6-8 New International Version (NIV)

Go to the ant, you sluggard;
    consider its ways and be wise!
It has no commander,
    no overseer or ruler,
yet it stores its provisions in summer
    and gathers its food at harvest.

What do you mean she is the only one working, there might not be any problem. I don't really understand what is going wrong.

All the workers are sitting back and chilling while the queen is moving the brood around.

I wouldn't worry, just let things play out, it doesn't sound like nothing too strange is happening. Keep us updated and tell us if you notice anything else weird happening.
