In a few more weeks my fire ant colonies will be ready to move out of test tubes and into permanent living spaces, I have picked out some plastic storage bins, they look perfect. Sadly were the lid attaches to the bin there is a small gap. I was thinking about sealing the gap with cotton balls all around the top. Will this work? Or will these fire ants be able to chew through the cotton? Also what kind of escape proofing works best for fire ants, I know they are escape artists but would baby powder, cornstarch, or something like that work?

Would you put a high profile escape artist prisoner into an already broken down prison and expect them not to escape?

Of course not unless you could fix the prison because you did not have access to any new prisons any time soon.

Still waiting for answers btw...
