Has anybody here ever encountered or kept Cephalotes Texanus? Apparently they exist in central texas, but I have never seen them.

They come about as far north as San Antonio.
From the range map I have, it goes about as far west as Del Rio and east to the coast.

I haven't seen them myself, but I don't usually look for ants when I'm down in their range.
