1. Location (on a map) of collection: Salem Utah
2. Date of collection: 7/16/2017
3. Habitat of collection: grass yard in the middle of the lawn
4. Length (from head to gaster): 4-6mm
5. Color, hue, pattern and texture: red amaber with brown hews
6. Distinguishing characteristics: as two very clear round nodes between the thorax and gaster
7. Distinguishing behavior: it was very calm
8. Nest description: not seen sorry

Solenopsis molesta. There was a large thief ant flight in Ambler, Pennsylvania today as well.
