What are your opinions on leaving ants at home while you're on a holiday? I leave them with a friend while I'm away, which can be up to 2 months at a time. Also, as I live in the Australia, the species here do not hibernate. What are some other alternatives to leaving them with a friend?

Cheers

Wow, and I thought I had a problem! I'm leaving my ants for a month. I posted about it so this might help you out some, but of course you have a bit of a different situation: http://www.formicult...-my-ants-alive/
