I caught a C. nearcticus queen about 2-3 weeks ago and so far she has only laid two eggs around the same time. Should I be worried that she is infertile?

I would just wait. My Camponotus cf. nearcticus queens were really fast to lay, but every queen is different and will get her colony started at her own pace. There might be a problem, there might not be.
