Nice.  This setup does look promising.  The coconut fibre is a good thing with ants that produce formic acid.  I imagine this would work very well for slower growers like Lasius or parasitic Formica.

 

I wasn't aware that he made some that glowed in the dark.  That is neat.

Heya, do you know where I can get them? I visited their homepage via google but everything's sold out.

 

Edit: Nevermind. Found them on Amazon. Not many products tho.

They've just recently been released for commercial sale. I'd imagine the website still needs to be updated.

I ordered a white one via Amazon. I always felt that the test tube was kinda mean to ants. If it works well, I will be purchasing few more.
