That's pretty interesting. I was under the impression that injured insects never last long anyways, and that ants never really tend to the wounded because their chances of survival would be really slim even if they helped them.

Yeah, isn't there a species of Camponotus ants that explode and act as chemical weapons? Weaponry in the bug world is pretty insane lol. :o
