Hey guys, after making a couple profile videos for my upcoming viral queens, I’ve decided that we should give em names. I’m open to anything.

Can be something cool like “Queen: Laura croft, Colony name: The Raiders”……lol

 

Anyways, I’d like to get some communal help. Doesn’t have to be elaborate, just something to call these girls for their upcoming videos. If we get enough names, we’ll do some kind of voting process.

Considering the originals died, their names will be carried on forward!

Having to review my journal to make sure I didn't actually name the test tube queen yet, though I'll declare them now so I can be original! Derp.

Nerd time. 

I'm calling one (Z*) for Zagara, the broodmother of the swarm, from Starcraft. 
And the other (V*) for Valentine, to play homage to the Formics from Ender's Game. 

 

Do you ream anything sci-fi (DUNE) where you could pull names fromt he dessert planet Arrakis? Them Freman are some gnarly brohams. (On book 3 DON'T RUIN IT FOR ME) Play anything ...Isn't Mass Effect rather popular (I've never played..) ..I don't know their galaxy enough to know what "bugs are called".

Star..wars...Actually I'm going to put my vote that you should call one "Leia (organa)" to pay respects. Yup, namin' an ant after Carrie Fisher. Heck, call one Carrie! If you aren't, I'm gonna..

Holy crap heaton, you've shown your nerd colors! lol. I like them all, especially Organa. There will be more queens to add. Have a a couple other species that are just starting off that i want to vlog document.

Phff....I just bought a brand new top of the line gaming rig on Monday. It's currently in Commerce City, CO...... Will they deliver it today? NO! Why be proactive and initiative at work... Tag says it can be delivered tomorrow so...do it tomorrow! We'll see....

I mean starting in High School I had Goku. Then I reformatted into Gohan. Bought one for College which I think was Goten. Somewhere Trunks came along. That one might be my "business computer" that's used only for money things. I know what my current gaming rig is Captain Ginyu. 

 

POKE MORE FUN!

So I'm REALLY ENJOYING the book on DVD, "Ready Player One" read by Will Wheaton. Seriously, I can't stress it enough, if you're a videogamer or love the 70-80 pop culture, pick up the book. ANYWAYS Wargames. I've never watched it (until last night) because I felt super obligated to. Bladerunner is next for those who care, and how cool is it that Bladerunner 2049 is coming out this year!?!

The computer in Wargames, Joshua, right? ...I kinda want to name my new gaming computer that because it's a gaming computer, just like Joshua.. Except I can't break from my DBZ tradition!!! These are the struggling thoughts that keep me up at night!

Damn, I've only ever had one PC and that's my gaming PC but its gone through 3 upgrades. I also have a Surface Pro 4 but that's my work laptop/tablet thing

If anything, I was watching Troy starring Brad Pit for the 20th time and remembered the soldiers Myrmidon. Check out myrmidon and how they are connected to ants lol.

Show some specs sg! Mines due for a new graphics card as I'm down one and the other is about 7 years old. Looking hard at the nvidia 1080 ti honestly.

As for names why not go the dermy route? There's plenty of anime out there. Or you could always name them after all of us wonderful people :P

The things that matter:

i7-7700K 4.2 GHz
Nvidia GTA 1080 
600W power supply
16 DDR4 2400 GB Ram
Z270 Motherboard

And a 27" 144hz, <1ms supa monitor.
 

I found out about the 1080 ti afterwards and I mistakenly did the bench top comparison. Oh well..I won't have to upgrade anything for at least 3 years. Next upgrades can be getting a bigger SSD and adding liquid cooling because why the heck not? I tend to buy myself one computer piece a year for my personal birthday gift and I'm calling it good for this year.

Unless you are talking about the Super Mario RPG + Strategy guide. I got the guide from when I signed up for Nintendo Power when I was ... How old is TC again? 11, 12? About his age then and have saved it ever since, knowing that one day it needed to be displayed semi-properly!

I like having the colony back up the queens name. Clever.

I like these, but they're all male names. I may use Sauron for Queen Sauron, but otherwise I'm not too sure.

Instead of frodo you could do Galadriel and the colony would be the elves
