Into the ant world I go, with this fascination of keeping an insect alive, instead of using ethyl acetate and sharp pin to study the crazy world of insects. I have been "surveying" Coleoptera;Scarabs for many years baiting pit falls with pig poop and intercept nets across predicted flight paths, only to find out the beetle world is all about the adult and little about the life cycle.  I want to observe from beginning to end, the efforts, the trials, the failures and the rewards of developing and rearing an ant colony......

 

Yeah yeah.... mainly because ant people are cooler

 

I can't wait to learn this fauna and read and share the ways of the Formicidae with you'ens <--- my new favorite word

 

And my perfect is Becky we have 7 kids here are some of them.... its a big batch of his and hers and ours... we WISH this on all of you  %)  %)  %)
