Bug ID IN

Best Answer Loops117 , February 8 2017 - 5:46 AM

Halyomorpha halys aka Brown marmorated stink bug.

First thing you should notice about this bug is it's shape. It's commonly called a Shield Bug due it's shield-like shape, and that is your first indicator of what kind of bug it is. Then include it's main color in a search and there you go!

We have a LOT of these in our area. Another bug you'll prolly find around this time is the Boisea trivittata aka Boxelder bug

Hello. I found an insect today, it's almost like a beetle. It's about 4mm in length and brown.

If that bug truly is 4mm. You have the smallest hands in the cosmos. :D

I tend to be bad at estimating metric measurements. It's actually 1.7 cm, in length and width,
