So, I have bought 30 lasius flavus queens from a Lady in Ca (Private). I don't think they are native but either way I bought them for 100$ all. I'm going to try to fuse them with Pogonomyrmex.C mainly but will be open to other polygenic queens. Any tips? Edit: I'm gonna try with my myrmecocystus navajo.

La= Los Angeles? Almost certainly not Lasius flavus then.

They are definitely Flavus. I'll take pics when they settle down just for you.

The species you mentioned, L. flavus, Pogonomyrmex sp., Myrmecocystus sp., are too different, and thus will not be able to communicate with one another. Except in the case of an established parasitic relationship, only very closely related species, usually within the same genus, may be successfully commingled; and even then, many combinations do not work.

Please do not attempt this experiment, as all of us here will tell you, with 100% certainty, that you will fail, and likely lose the queens in the process.

It's not that people are doubting you. There are people here with a lot of experience who know that what you are attempting is pretty much impossible. I think the best thing you could do at this point is a lot of reading. That's how I learned a lot when I first got into this hobby.

I want to try to fuse Pheidole and Technomyrmex for the "ULTIMATE HARVESTER WORKER REPRODUCTION COLONY". I will call the colony Technopheidolemyrmex. I'm so creative.
