Update (4/11/17): Well, her last worker died of old age. What can I do? She has no workers and some larvae right now.

Update 5/3/17: Well, she has a small pupae, and some other large larvae. For some reason, the larvae spun silk but the pupae is naked. Any reasons?

Glad to hear you've got more workers on the way.
Thanks Terry. I chose to put her into a test because 1. I wanted to replicate the stable conditions of a founding chamber and 2. It was the easiest setup to feed her in. Currently, I'm pretty much the worker ant, since I bring her fruit flies and sugar water for her to directly feed on. I really hope she can make a comeback.

If you can find some ant brood from another species, that would probably make for excellent food to jumpstart the colony.

Update (8/19/17): I notice that all my journals are becoming like Vendayn's, but that's not really important to me at the moment. The queen and her one worker are still alive, and drinking tons of sugar, but recently I noticed the larvae haven't grown at all in the past month or so. The colony takes in flies, but I have yet to personally see the queen or worker feeding them parts of the fly, although it does look like the fly gets chewed on a bit. What is going on, why aren't the larvae growing, and why does the queen seem to be eating the fly on her own?
