I use a Canon Powershot SX50 HS + Raynox DCR-250 close-up lens + External flash. I own this camera since 2012.

Small vs Big. Lasius niger workers managed to overpower a multiple times larger Camponotus vagus worker in my garden:

In the third picture, are those Lasius niger workers using the newly discovered "daisy chain" behavior to pull apart that Camponotus worker? For anyone who is not in the know, I am not joking or being sarcastic. This is a real thing.

Ni hao (the only Mandarin phrase I know :-)) ,

I like the nicobarensis a lot, great color easy to keep. However my colony isn't that big so activity is still low.

You should change that German sentence a little bit because currently it means:

"Good morning, I'm very stupid but I learned German." and I highly doubt that you're very stupid ;)). You probably meant:

"Guten morgen, es ist zwar noch nicht perfekt, aber ich habe Deutsch gelernt"

which means:

"Good morning, it's far from perfect but I learned German".

However my English isn't the best so maybe my English sentences sound a little bit strange to some native speakers ;)

I also wondered if that is the same behaviours almost seems like. Only that the chain isn't that long. I made a video last year showing Lasius niger pinning down a Camponotus vagus worker too and you can also see this behavior:

Don't be too mean to him, maybe one day you'll need someone to carry home all the ant colonies you collected.

Someone should make a small ant war by putting exactly 1 gram of of an ant species into a bowl and then putting exactly 1 gram of a different ant species. This looks like a fair battle
