Just curious what ant book does everyone here own? I am ordering 'Journey to the Ants' and 'The Leafcutter Ants: Civilization by Instinct'. and thinking about 'The Ants' by Bert Holldobler and Edward Wilson which also includes IDing the ants, except some of the scientific names are out of date. Just want to know what is a good book for ant, like which one is good for ant rearing, which is good scientific book for ant, etc etc. Thanks!

I've seen snippets of The Ants by EO Wilson and really want a copy, but I can't seem to find any for less than $100 or so. Any ideas?

If you don't mind a used one you can find <$70 on Amazon.

It's fiction but I think you guys would enjoy Empire of the Ants by Bernard Werber.
Written from the perspective of an ant queen mostly.
Old book though.  There's actually a computer game as well that's not so bad.
