I'm super jealous, I love pheidole but their not in my region.  :(

What area are you in?

As far as I know, pretty much every state in the US has at least one Pheidole, and they even exist in some parts of Canada. They are over a large part of Europe and Asia, most of Africa, South America, and Australia.

There are Pheidole in Illinois, but I'm not sure how far north they extend.

Got any pictures of the whole nest? I'm thinking about moving mine to something larger, but they're so low maintenance it seems like a waste to spend money on something nice.  :D

Brood pile has grown substantially since a few feedings of insects. Awesome pile of brood!
