Location: Fenton & Swartz Creek MI

 

Colonies:

 

30+ Camponotus pennsylvanicus / Large Ants (Carpenter Ant) - 5 to 12 workers

1 Formica neogagates or lasiodes / Small Ants (not sure which) - 15+ workers with brood

3 Crematogaster cerasi (small ants) - 10+ workers with brood

1 Lasius Neoniger (small ants) - 10+ workers with brood

 

 

 

All queens are $50 (unless otherwise specified). First come first serve.

I will ship to a Michigan Address for an additional $15 (no guarantee's - at your own risk).

Local pickup around Swartz Creek or Fenton is optimal.

All of these queens were caught by me this year or last year (2018-2019).

 

Very interested in mass sale of my Carpenter Queens.

Good morning,

 

I am interested in buying two of your Camponotus pennsylvanicus colonies for $75.00 if they are still available. I live in Lansing, MI and would be willng to drive to get the colonies as I know that USPS will not handle them properly even with a fragile indicator. I realize this post is from August, 2019 so please let me know if you are sold out, if not then we can exchange information for the sale.

READ THE RULES! This one is so commonly not followed: Rule 8. Members must accurately represent their location in their member profile to participate in offers to buy, sell, trade, or otherwise distribute living ants of any caste or life stage.

However, I went back to the Sierras, and restarted my collection, which is now as follows:

Aphaenogaster uinta, Camponotus vicinus, Camponotus modoc, Formica cf. aserva, Formica cf. micropthalma, Formica cf. manni, Formica subpolita, Formica cf. subaenescens, Lasius americanus, Manica invidia, Pogonomyrmex salinus, Pogonomyrmex sp. 1, Solenopsis validiuscula, & Solenopsis sp. 3 (new Sierra variant).

When posting a new topic on the General Marketplace, rule #8 should be spelled out in large, red, capital letters to the one who posts it, and to everyone who reads it.

I mean, this person is obviously new to the forum, so a possible solution is to maybe not have the option to post unless you've read forum rules? It's just a thought...

Hello everybody,

 

Not going to lie when I say that I am amazed at how fast people jumped on this that were not the creator. That said your forum does not require one to read the rules is a correct statement. I looked up queens for sale in Michigan and a link appeared. I followed this link and it said I needed an account to post,  signed up for said account and it allowed me to post. I would suggest the forum rules be in the sign up process if excuse the pun but one post seems to have disturbed the nest. I will make sure to read all rules and follow them hence forth. Thank you to Da_NewAntOnTheBlock who was the only one to not jump to conclusions as the UI is the problem here in my opinion and just needs a simple update. Enjoy the rest of your forum trolling ladies and gents.
