8-13-19

On Sunday I got a colony of these from Nurbs. They had 7 workers with plenty of brood. These guys should be easy and fast growing like my fraggles. Lets hope I don't screw up and kill these guys in the future.

Update 9-25-19

These guys have 16 workers now. They are starting to produce red heads. For some reason they moved their brood outside of the tube. It might be because of the tube that I need to change soon. These guys look like they are going to be successful.

Update 5-11-20

These guys are doing pretty well with 25 workers. They have a good amount of brood. I have them in a Nurbs V2 formicarium because of their size. They have 2 majors right now. For some reason they moved to the outworld this morning. I'm not worried about it. I couldn't get a good picture of them since they are nesting right next to their feeder.

The heat source is on the other side of where they are.

Update 8-24-20

These guys have 41 workers and are doing good. The queen laid a bunch of eggs so there are a pretty good amount of pupae and larvae. More workers should come soon.

Update 11-30-20

I got 5 of they queens from ecan yesterday in a trade. No eggs but I will have to wait till next year to get eggs. I will just let these sit out the winter and start heating in March. These are not the same variety as my big colony. As for my larger colony nothing much has changed.
