Kurzgesagt released a video on army ants! And they did their resarch, even showing and obscure species like melissotarsus and thaumatomyrmex. They also mentioned  that they will release other videos covering these ants.

I have been watching Kurz for a long time. Every morning when I check my notifications if there is a new video from them I will watch it never matter what I'm doing. This morning I was watching that video within five minutes of walking up lol.

Awesome vid! I love it. Very informative but entertaining and quick.

Here's the part 2 of the Series. Mostly posting it here since it talks about Argentine ants and their devastating invasiveness in California. (which is probably pretty relatable to some on this forum)

Ok never though I'd say this, but, FIRE ANTS FOR THE WIN!

The native fire ants especially. They don't deserve the same hate that S. invicta does.

Argentines are honestly worse than the native fire ants. By a long shot.
