I am really wondering about this species. I got 6 queens on todays walk. It is definitely not lasius niger, already got one queen. The way abdomen looks like gold, its actually semi transparent. I am curious what you guys think.

looks like lasius but would need better pictures to identify the species.

Thanks, but it is most definetly lasius flavus. The queens are exactly like on images.
