I hibernated my Tetramorium in a mini-fridge set to 46degrees F.

Yea but I keep my ants all the time in a basemant and in the middle of summer there are like 14-16 grades. What can I buy to heat their nest?

Ants usually hibernate during cold temperatures, when winter comes in your country(unless yours doesn’t, which I’m assuming it has seasons), they will automatically go into hibernation unless you keep them in somewhere perpetually hot. But I do also think ants have a “internal clock” that tells them when it’s hibernations time and they should slow down.

Many people use reptile heating cables to warm their ants. Your basements sounds pretty cool for them to thrive.
