Howdy ya'll,

 

I use to be a long time ant enthusiast who had to take a hiatus from ant keeping to get her adult life in order. How that everything is settled and I'm settled, I've decided to start pursuing all my hobbies and finding new ones. This includes ant keeping!

I would check out https://canada-ant-colony.com which is run by a freind of mine and also based in Toronto. They have pogonomyrmex occidentalis for sale at the moment.

Welcome back, I had been meaning to ask if you were still keeping ants.

I haven’t been keeping ants for some time. Was busy trying to get my adult feet on the ground before letting hobbies creep in. Now I’m pretty settled with the home and the career and the income so going back to pursue some “me” activities for a change. Kept in contact with Trager though he too asked if I was still keeping ants and it prompted me to get back into the hobby.

Welcome back! It’s never too late to start up a colony again. I got into this hobby right as my life got really crazy with two kids, but it’s a great escape from the pandemonium when I can manage.
