Quit this hobby and never intended to come back. That is until I found one my favorite species who hadn’t laid eggs yet, just by chance so here I am!

Welcome to Formiculture, DatGaster1306, and welcome back to Ant-keeping!

Ant-keeping is definitely a love - hate venture; and it often requires a lot of patience. Hopefully, the queen you caught will revive your interest in the hobby!

Just had so many other hobbies and life things. I had about $500+ worth of supplies that I got rid of and never expected to come back. A bit too tedious for me but a small colony should do me well for now.

Had a chance encounter with my favorite species. Was doing yard work when I found what I believe to be a Pheidole Dentata. I’ve already had two previous Dentata queens that failed.

Yes that is my old account.
