i just got my first tetramorium sp e colony its tubs and tubes setup today. its a colony of 20 i placed some food outside of there test tube how long do you think it will take for them to realize they have a outside

That would depend on how hungry they are and what the food is. Btw they're Tetramorium immigrans now.
