I got some Myrmecocystus mimicus queens from dspdrew. I will try to update daily until they get workers.

Where do you get the pva sponge, and do you cut it to fit the tube or buy round pieces?

 

I just contact the people that make pva sponges and ask them to precut.

That's a lot of larvae for founding!  Exciting!  She looks to be getting a good start.


Currently keeping Tetramorium Immigrans and Camponotus Pennsylvanicus in THA mini hearths.  I also have a couple Prenolepis Imparus queens in test tubes.
