Cleaning Test Tubes and Stuff

What are some best practices type stuff for cleaning Test Tubes and Formicaria out after use?

I use isopropyl alcohol and paper towels.

I'll usually soak them for a bit, then scrub them with a piece of paper towel on the end of a BBQ skewer.

I have both plastic and glass, and if the plastic are real bad I just toss them. I'm slowly phasing out the plastic ones.
