Hi everyone! I’m looking for a good starter nest for a Camponotus fragilis colony that has around 20 workers. I just need a nest that will stay closed should it be tipped over.

Any container (that isn't glass) with a tight lid should work

A tubs and tubes set up with a tight lid should work, you can always tape the lid to the formicarium.

A big test tube (30x200mm) should work fine. It can fit around 200 C. barbaricus which I assume are bigger than C. fragilis.

We should respect all forms of consciousness. The body is just a vessel, a mere hull.
