Can a parasitic Lasius colony be successful if ONLY given eggs and/or larvae?

Lasius (Acanthomyops, likely claviger) and Camponotus subbarbatus.

I'm pretty sure you have to give the Lasius queen callow workers and pupae of the host species for them to be successful. The queens apparently don't open pupae on their own so they need workers for it.

Queen one looks like Lasius umbratus, and queen two is definitely Camponotus subbarbatus. Like that one I sold you! Now you got a back up.

Btw, how are the subbarbatus you bought from me?
