Hey all!
I have a Tetramorium colony that has out gown it's tubes and tubs set up. The tub is a display case for small die cast cars, similar in size to the out world of THA mini hearth. I had about 4 escape last time I opened it to feed them.

Could I just attach a large external nest area to the current out world? Would that be enough?

How much bigger should there next home be? I was thinking maybe 3x bigger because of how fast they are growing.

I would go about three times bigger.

Fortress, or if you want a really big nest, nucleus would be the choice.

I'd recommend checking out Chrystals' tutorial on how to make a bead container formicarium. It's cheap, easy, and my Tetramorium love it. I need to make a much bigger one for mine very soon.
