wait, that affinis queen in the pic above has ocelli...

All of the large, and commonly interacted with, Carebara species are quite diverse. iirc Carebara diversa has something like 10 subspecies itself. Probably just a by-product of having such a massive range and inhabiting quite a few islands. You'll just have to hope she is successful and see what comes out of her at this point, although I agree, she is most likely Carebara affinis. There also seems to be an issue within the anting community on Carebara identification. Many people see Carebara-esque ants and automatically assume they're Carebara diversa, and that anything smaller or red is Carebara affinis. Possible this is the case with the photo you found. The queen on the left could very well be a different Carebara diversa subspecies or something. Anyways, hope this helps. Excited to see the colony she'll create.
