The spider was caught under a rock in a wooded area.

The assassin bug was found in the same wooded area on the walkway.

can't see the spider clearly enough but resembles apomastus sp. mygalomorphae.

the assassin is a juv apiomerus sp. can't be sure they all look the same as nymphs.  the apiomerus needs some sort of sticky plant to load its legs with adhesive sap/nectar, they like rabbitbrush and tarplant
