I have started:

https://www.antkeeping.wiki/

Looking for contributors and anyone who has free time. Pretty simple task: move ant keeping info to ant species pages. Almost finished example:

https://www.antkeepi...ex_californicus

This site is not meant as a replacement to http://www.antwiki.org/. It's meant for hobbyists in ant keeping and husbandry.

There is a template ready to go here: https://www.antkeepi...le=Template:Ant

Discussion on that page explains how to use template. Basically create a page with ant species name, ex. Pogonomyrmex californicus, then paste {{subst:Ant}} and save page. Will populate the complete template into the page and you are ready to go.

I created this wiki 1 day ago prior to this post date. This wiki is my idea, hosted on my hosting, with the domain I purchased. I will not make a profit on this site nor do I intend to. I have permission for images used and give credit where it's due. Uploads are allowed; don't hotlink to this site just upload it there.

If anyone has questions or issues, or if you have images you own I could use, let me know.

Anyone looking to contribute, just moved the website to a new, and better VPS, updated all the wiki software so there shouldn't be anymore downtime moving forward. Now would be a great time to add all that data you collected. Or just let me know and I can add it for you. If any pages are missing or any suggestions for pages reply here and I can add it. As always, all criticism is welcome.

Thinking of adding some more "flair" to the design. Also needs to look less bland, for example, better templates and landing page to be updated with more content, etc.
