I need help on basically everything with this spp. Any info is appreciated greatly. (Diet, moisture, nest, etc.)

Neoponera villosa (as it's called now) is a hunter. They'll probably eat mostly insects and little else. Like most (if not all) ponerines, it's semi-claustral. They'll apparently found polygynous colonies with multiple queens cooperating.

They nest in trees (but forage on the ground), so they probably like it drier.

This might be a good place to start.

These don't live as far north and east as Houston, so I'd be wary of keeping them there. If they get out, they may be able to establish themselves (this species lives in pretty much every biome that isn't too cold, so it has the potential to thrive in that area).

If you want to keep a similar species that probably lives near you, you can try Pachycondyla harpax. It's a bit smaller, and lives in the ground under rocks and stuff. It's certainly more common, and even does OK in suburban areas.
