1. Location of collection: Bellevue, Nebraska
2. Date of collection: august 12th
3. Habitat of collection: cement, fuel tower
4. Length (from head to gaster): 6 mm
5. Color, hue, pattern and texture:dark body (brownish) legs orange
6. Distinguishing characteristics: pointed faster, elbowed antennae, 1 node
7. Distinguishing behavior:males tackled the females in tuppaware I collected them in to mate
8. Nest description:no nest but found on concrete parallel with fuel tower
9. Nuptial flight time and date:4pm august 12

1. Location of collection: Bellevue, Nebraska

3. Habitat of collection: under wet sandbag, my car
4. Length (from head to gaster):7 mm
5. Color, hue, pattern and texture:yellow faster, red thorax and brown head
6. Distinguishing characteristics: very yellow faster and engorged, slow, 2 nodes
7. Distinguishing behavior:they were out from the afternoon til dark. These were on the ground but there was alot in the air at night. Very humid out and rained the day prior
8. Nest description:no nest
9. Nuptial flight time and date:4pm-830pm august 12

Thanks budd. Now I got trouble ahead of me lol. I don't know if you've seen the other ant I caught but I'm thinking it might be an asian needle ant
