Hello, everyone! I'm a student in Toms River who's studying Trachymyrmex Septentrionalis ants. An issue that has come up with my research is the lack of knowledge as to where these ants might be? Does anyone know of any place near Toms River, or any specific location in NJ where I'd have a better chance of finding these ants?

Antmaps is your friend...and yes, it looks like samples of that species have been found in NJ.

Also, the specific epithet of a species name is not capitalized. So it should be: Trachymyrmex septentrionalis

I currently maintain a site dedicated to the study of Pheidole megacephala:

The Pheidole megacephala Journal
